A lot of people enjoy a nice glass of wine (or two) with their food – some people enjoy even more than that.  Wherever you fit into this equation, one of the most grudging aspects of going out for a meal can be trying to choose a bottle from the wines on offer and trying to work out if it will be drinkable.  Naturally this problem doesn’t arise when you get a takeaway (such as from our great Indian menu) – but you don’t always want to eat in the house.

Make Mine A (Curry And) Wine

Here at the Maharajahs Indian Restaurant and Takeaway – you can bring your own bottle – and we won’t charge a penny for corkage.  How great is that – you can bring your favourite bottle – whatever it costs you – and it won’t cost you a penny more to enjoy it with your meal.

For drinking with curry – here are a couple of suggestions.  For an evening of spicy food – it is hard to beat a nice red with good flavour to sooth the tastebuds as soon as the heat of the dish kicks in.  For a less spicy evening – an ice cold fruity white will complement a nice Korma!
